Some old. Something new. So Glad I'm in a State that's Blue!

Click HERE! Gay marriage doesn't change my marriage one iota. Doesn't diminish it, ridicule it or lessen the meaning. And look at it this way, if people who are anti-gay marriage reaaaaly think about it, what better way to stop gay sex then to allow official marriage? (I see you nodding your head....)

Yes, I was totally nodding my head (ironic, since I do support gay marriage!)

In other odd news - we both used the word "iota" in posts today. Coincidence?

why would two people professing their love and commitment to one another take away from your or my marriage? America has more important issues right now - like financial meltdown and PLEASE don't let Macain Palin get in the white house. The world is begging you to see sense, but with a track record including TWO terms for Bush, I'm not holding out much hope. Let's hope it's not the third almighty balls on the bounce.

Larry King having 4 divorces is more of an insult. John McCain divorcing HIs very sick wife for a younger woman is an insult. Liz Taylor marrying umpteen times is an insult. Pamela Anderson marrying for 2 weeks at a time is in insult. Being able to pay the Catholic Church to annul your marriage of 30 years and 6 kids is an INSULT. SPeaking of which, in Church yesterday check out this irony. The head priest came out to make an announcement after Mass, telling us how to VOTE in November on this marriage issues in CT. From the pulpit I might add (where's my whistleblower number for the IRS??) And the other priest had JUST told us that he was having a talk on annulment and how it's done sometime this month. Yeah, you can get married in the Catholic Church, you can't get divorced, but you can get a annulment which wipes the slate clean, the marriage simply never happened, so you can remarry in the Church. Ted Kennedy got one from his first wife - they'd had how many kids??? And it never existed? Money talks, even in Latin.... Gay marriage does not affect my marriage. Does any Church HAVE to perform same sex marriage? I don't think so. The Catholic Church is welcome to continue the ban based on their tenets. I have no problem with that at all. But don't tell me how to vote while I'm sitting in a pew. Nope.
